Lamb Yiros

Ingredients

  • 500gm Specialty Foods Lamb Yiros
  • 4 Mission Traditional Pita or Souvlaki Breads
  • Wombat Valley Tzatziki sauce
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onions
  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Wombat Valley Kalamata olives
  • Real Dairy Bella Greek Feta cheese, crumbled

Instructions

1. Cook the Lamb:** Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated lamb slices for about 2-3 minutes from frozen the remove from heat. 2. Warm the Pita Bread:** Warm the pita bread or flatbreads briefly on the grill or in a warm oven for about 1-2 minutes per side until they're soft and pliable. 3. **Assemble the Yiros:** 4. Lay a warm pita bread on a clean surface. Spread a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce in the center of the bread. 5. Place a portion of the cooked lamb slices on top of the tzatziki. 6. Add slices of tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and fresh lettuce leaves on top of the lamb. 7. If you like, you can add some Kalamata olives and crumbled feta cheese for an extra burst of flavor. 8. Wrap and Serve:** Carefully fold the sides of the pita bread over the fillings, then roll it up from the bottom to create a Yiros wrap. **Enjoy:** Your Lamb Yiros is ready to be devoured!
